OAFL Launches “Rec Footy”
Friday, 21st March 2008
“Rec Footy” is the latest addition to the growing OAFL 2008 season. This recreational level of footy is aimed at rookies, over 35’s and aims to ensure that all players around the league get the opportunity to have a kick with mates. All players are welcome whether it is for every game, or just to play the occasional match over the 7-8 round season.
All games in this division of footy will have modified rules to lower the chances of injury. This is a great opportunity for clubs to make sure all players on their roster get a kick each weekend and for rookies to gain some playing experience in a slower grade of football. All games will be scheduled to be played at Humber North ground.
Further information on this area will come at a later date but anyone interested in taking part in “Rec Footy” is asked to contact
